The principle, put under the sign of generosity, is simple: all you have to do is come with a new toy with a minimum value of €10. In return, a gourmet meal was served, prepared by recognized chefs: Bruno Lonfier; Marc Souali, restaurateur in Rouen; Nicolas Bertrand and Mathurin, son of Cyril Combes of the butcher’s shop at the Hôtel-de-Ville; Yann Delaunay, pastry chef in Saint-Malo; the young Golbéen, Charles Gantois, a lucky candidate for Objectif Top Chef, then Top Chef or even Frédéric Savadoux, from the Jeuxey brewery.

All of them found candidates for the planned 300 places.

Organized and prepared by Golbéen Bruno Lonfier, now head baker and pastry chef at La Baffe, his wife Catherine and their son Thé, this gastronomic moment was a huge success.

The record was even broken for this 2022 edition, as around 400 toys were offered, compared to 322 in 2019, to be distributed to children in the children’s home and children in the Louise-Michel social center.

Note the excellent service performance of the twenty students of the Hotel School Notre-Dame – Saint-Joseph d’Épinal, accompanied by their supervisor Denis Gadja, Claire Amann, service teacher, and Joëlle Guillaume, cooking teacher.

An afternoon that ended with a series of thanks from Bruno Lonfiero to all these people, the municipality for securing and preparing the room, as well as the lady volunteers of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Foundation who came to lend a hand with service and cleaning and all the generous merchants and artisans who offered raw materials for food preparation.
