KEEMTAAN GI – TONIGHT AT THE CIRCUS!
Within our August National Assembly, it is often like a circus. The actors of these capitals are even more eligible than some of these parliamentary bombardment beaters. The image that this institution often returns to us is unworthy of what it should represent. And it must be torture for some of these MPs to listen to their colleagues whose testimony represents real moral torture for the good people who follow these gutter debates. We knew about the excessive extravagance of a certain Mama Diara Fam. But with this current legislature some of these gentlemen and ladies have nothing to envy the actors of Pigalle, this Parisian district famous for its night life and especially for its whores. At the level of language, some of our parliamentarians would give karter complexes. All accompanied by the gestures of a dumbass. Men and women are not setting an example for the youth of this country. In short, we are far from the elegance of our representatives of a certain era. Also far from their epic discussions. Well, they are complete bums and rascals who impose their nonsense on us every day. The star of this legislature remains the grotesquely named Coura Macky. When she appears on our television screens and opens them, any parent concerned about the good education of their children must take precautions to keep them away while covering their ears. Even zap illico! This parliamentarian represents the most disgusting in terms of dress and vocabulary. Everything about her is about sass. She has no respect for her colleagues, let alone the public. We wonder what trick such people used to find themselves in parliament. And there are a lot of them in this legislature. In short, the practice of politics has taken quite a beating in this country.
KACCOOR BI – THE WITNESS
ADJI SARR CASE / SONKO CONFLICT NEXT DECEMBER!
The “Sweet Beauty” massage parlor affair in Sacré-Coeur 3-Vdn will soon have its epilogue. After various hearings in the background of the actors in this case of alleged rape, a place for reckoning! The daily “Svidok” learns that the complainant Adja Sarr and the defendant Ousmane Sonko will be confronted by the dean of investigative judges Oumar Maham Diallo or the man with… a plastered arm. It will be next Tuesday, December 6 at 10 am. A meeting confirmed by one of Ousmane Sonko’s lawyers who was joined by the Witness. “Indeed, we received a call from our client this Wednesday, November 30, around 8 p.m. Confrontation or not, I can’t tell you because the reason for this call is not given. But what is certain is that my client will be called by the court dean on Tuesday, December 6,” he said.
FAN SECRETS AREA WELL FOLLOWED BY SD CONSULTING IN ITS RIGHTS!
Yesterday, the newspaper “Le Witness” reported in its edition the cry of anxiety and desolation of certain restaurateurs and hotels in Dakar who were pinned down because of the broadcast of the matches of the World Cup 2022, the rights of which are exclusively acquired by Rts. It is within these legal frameworks that Rts gave an exclusive mandate to the company Sd Consulting, for the purposes of marketing, setting up, organizing fan zones and using the right to publicly watch World Cup matches. After that, “The Witness” realized that most of the Lebanese restaurateurs and hoteliers in Dakar, Saly, Cap Skirring, etc. rubbed their hands through the match broadcast. Indeed, not only have they tripled the price of the menu (including meals and drinks) they sell, but they have also created secret fan zones to attract as many customers as possible. We are even told that some hotels and restaurants have increased their turnover by millions of CFA per day. Faced with this illegal broadcasting, the Senegalese company Sd-Consulting multiplied attacks on restaurants and hotels to offer their managers offers to recover the signal at a flat rate of 1,500,000 cfa. And not the amount of CFA 5 million that was initially advanced because the stakeholders considered it excessive. So, SD-Consulting is within its rights against these unscrupulous hoteliers and restaurateurs who always want butter and butter money.
MACKY ON THE “TAGATO TOUR” FROM DECEMBER 28!
Upon coming to power in 2012, the President of the Republic innovated by organizing decentralized Councils of Ministers in all regions of our country. During these high masses, Macky Sall made very many and tempting promises, most of which were forgotten during the two mandates – astafourlah, mandate and quinquennium! – which he carried out between 2012 and 2019, then from 2019 to 2022. Well, when he still has a little more than a year left in power, he will from the following December 28, i.e. 13 months from the end of his five-year mandate, initiated The Head of State will once again preside over the Councils of Decentralized Ministers. Concluding the communication from the Council of Ministers, yesterday he announced the holding of the decentralized Council of Ministers in Tambacounda on December 28, 2022, as well as the ceremony to celebrate the National Livestock Day on December 29. According to gossip, this series of so-called decentralized Council of Ministers looks like a “Tagato Tour”, that is, a national farewell tour of the President of the Republic with his constituents. “Tagato Tour” in the domestic part of his five-year term (not to be confused with the seven-year term that covered the period 2012-2019!). He will start especially at the moment when the “Némékou Tour” of his great rival Ousmane Sonko will be in full swing. Let’s just hope they don’t clash at the regional level!
HIGHER EDUCATION THIS THURSDAY AMADOU MAKHTAR MBOW UNIVERSITY OPENED, MATAM AND EASTERN SENEGAL UNIVERSITIES LAUNCHED
Senegal’s university map saw a real jump in university multiplication under President Macky Sall. The first generations of the Senegalese elite were educated at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, then from the 1990s at the Gaston Berger University in St-Louis. However, these two universities were not able to fulfill all the demands of the graduates who were knocking on the doors of these universities en masse. Few places were offered, and the state even had to resort to private institutions of higher education to accommodate unoriented students in public structures. Faced with observed budgetary delays and astronomical bills that he could not pay to these private institutions due to, in some cases, manifest abuses, the President of the Republic then embarked on a battle for the diversification of the university offer. Macky Sall then built the universities of Ziguinchor, Thiès, Kaolack and Bambey. This Thursday, December 1, he opens the Amadou Makhtar Mbow University in Diamnadi. Yesterday, in the Council of Ministers, he announced the launch of Matam and Senegal Oriental universities. This system is complemented by the African Virtual University and the Higher Institutes of Professional Education (ISEP).
UNIVERSITIES IN MATAM AND EASTERN SENEGAL APPOINTED PROJECT COORDINATORS
Let’s stay at the university level to say that President Macky Sall concretizes the wishes of the population of Matama and Eastern Senegal who during his trips to these parts of the country expressed their complaints regarding the creation of a university. Their wishes have been heard since the decision was made yesterday to start the process of building Matam and Senegal Oriental universities. The first acts of the President of the Republic were the appointment of coordinators for these two universities. This is how the regular university professor of exceptional class Mamadou SIDIBE was appointed as the coordinator of the Souleymane NIANG project of the University of Matamo (USN). As for the full professor of the University of Kandioura NOBA, he has been appointed as the project coordinator of the University of Eastern Senegal (USO).
