A prisoner who escaped from Bourg-en-Bresse prison was arrested in a camp in Nord-Isère last May. The court sentenced him again on Monday.
While he received a sentence of five years in prison in the case of narcotics, he never returned to Adin Penitentiary. Finally, on May 23, the police managed to arrest him, not without difficulty camp at Villette d’Anthon (North-Isère). Pursued by four police officers, the latter fell onto a peg before being arrested.
Two more years in prison
As reported by Le Progrès, the 33-year-old man appeared on Monday, October 10, before the criminal court of Bourg-en-Bresse for rebellion, receiving a stolen vehicle and the crime of escape. He was convicted two years in prison. Although he was originally scheduled to be released in June 2024, his time behind bars will last longer this time around.
