Hobby is one of the few manufacturers showing a clear rate increase
of their registrations during one year. This “Tom Thumb” of the sector, at least in the French market, intends to put on its seven-league boots to continue growing (…). We will try to explain to you how.
A growing network, a well-stocked catalog and a head full of ideas. The fact is: Hobby has all the keys to continue its growth in the European market, especially in France where the number of new vehicle registrations jumped by 38% in one year. Knowing the same current difficulties of all manufacturers to secure stocks of chassis and raw materials, it is quite a feat achieved by the German brand.
Despite these good results, Hobby executives prefer to remain cautious and not touch the catalog. Therefore it remains unchanged. However, one exception: the arrival of the design for the Volkswagen Crafter. What is the name of this new model? Maxia van.
In the collection we will find:
- the compact Van Optima with a low profile on the Citroën Jumper, in the fully equipped Ontour Edition version,
- classic Optima Ontour or De Luxe profiles on Jumper or Ducato,
- Optima Ontour nasturtiums on Citroën,
- Vantana vans in Ontour Edition and De Luxe,
- and finally, the Maxia Van on the Volkswagen Crafter, opposite.
Hobby remains a mid-range manufacturer with prices of just over 60,000 euros.
