Within Halloweenparties terrible organized by Enigma Keys in Mining camp of Forges-Les-Eaux. The evening of November 4 was aimed at the youngest tourists at VVF de Forges and their families.
Screams and whispers
The Halloween atmosphere was at its peak in the “horror camp”: whispers, screams, inhuman zombies, killer clowns, evil witches and ghost dolls evolved in the spooky surroundings of abandoned cemeteries, bloody cars and strange circus tents.
Escape games where everyone had to protect their lives, solve puzzles and (yikes!) find the keys to the exit.
David Vermeulen, director of the Norman Ecrin VVF in Forges-Les-Eaux and co-founder of Enigma Keys, disguised as a bloodthirsty surgeon, explained the genesis of this project: “The idea was to celebrate Halloween in a more spacious environment than that of the VVF. Camp director Nicolas Courtin immediately expressed his complicity.
About twenty young volunteer extras from the sector, passionate about escape games, immediately signed up, each choosing their own character. They designed games and quickly built sets that they set up in a week at camp.
He concludes: “Their involvement was exceptional and I thank them for that. »
I’m not even afraid
The evening of November 4 was emotionally sweeter because it was arranged for the youngest on vacation at VVF. The actors did not intervene and remained calm with less disturbing sets.
Teenagers and adults arrived in the second half of the evening. The monsters have reappeared, the creeps too! “The crazy doctor chased me, I’m still shaking! Justine, 16 years old, admits.
Every year I come from the north of France to celebrate Halloween at the VVF. Honestly, I had the will!
Santa does stupid things
Mathieu Aubarbier, co-founder of Enigma Keys, has already announced: “The mobile escape box will be operational next week. Mobile means portable and accessible, at home or elsewhere, for individuals of all ages. It’s up to everyone to succeed in opening the box: a good puzzle! “And let me add:” Scoop! We know that Santa lost his present. In December we will be offering Santa Silly events (all ages) to try and find this gift together. »
