Kerzner International launches its brand of fitness-focused hotels in Dubai


Kerzner International has announced plans to open its first SIRO facility in Dubai late next year. The brand will offer hotels focused on wellness and fitness, each tailored to the destination in which it is located.

SIRO One Za’abeel will be located within one of the two towers that make up the One Za’abeel project in Dubai, currently under development by Ithr. The hotel offers a view of the city skyline.

Holistic fitness and wellness programs will be designed for each guest, including an optional 3D body scan to collect personalized data. The brand has engaged international stars and sports teams to act as consultants for the development of its programs. Among its ambassadors are AC Milan, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and boxer Ramla Ali.

The bedrooms in the hotel will be equipped with smart Aero Plush mattresses, rescue lockers and smart curtains to stimulate restful sleep. The SIRO app alarm can be adjusted based on the client’s circadian rhythm to avoid jet lag and ensure a more restful sleep.

Dedicated to fitness and well-being, the facility will include a two-story fitness club with a 1,000 m² gym and spaces for yoga, meditation and group classes. It will also offer facilities for strength and conditioning, cardio, weight lifting, cycling, boxing, pilates and HIIT studios.

Its dedicated recovery laboratory will offer state-of-the-art technologies, cryotherapy, infrared and oxygen therapies, physiotherapy, acupuncture and stretching. Mindfulness trainers, specialist trainers, technicians and nutrition experts will also be available to guests.

The F&B offering will consist of on-site restaurants serving seasonal, locally sourced organic dishes.
