The association of stars and solidarity, sponsored by chef Pierre Gagnaire, has been organizing solidarity and gastronomic events since 2018, helping to fight the social isolation of the elderly and vulnerable people.
For the past four years, he has been asking the big names of French gastronomy to organize “Table of our seniors”: lunches in their prestigious restaurant so that elderly guests can enjoy a gourmet meal in a friendly atmosphere. It is also a privileged moment when guests meet and talk with the chefs.
For its fourth edition, the city of Nîmes has been chosen to organize this event for the first time in the region. At his brasserie l’Impé, chef Nicolas Fontaine, chef Pierre Gagnaire’s right-hand man for 17 years, designed a menu especially for his meeting with the elderly, accompanied by the establishment’s chief sommelier, Logan Thouillez.
