Suzuki Jimny converted into a camper

Launched in 1970 and since falling through four generations, Suzuki Jimny is a small 4×4 appreciated by lovers of outdoor adventure and slightly unusual models. The third generation, launched in 1998, is the longest-lived with its 20-year career, and there are still many of them on our roads, especially in the countryside.

This is a copy of the Suzuki Jimny from in 2003 we find out here: While this isn’t the first time the Jimny has been converted into a recreational vehicle, this time it’s got a cell that turns it into a original XXS camper !

Suzuki Jimny Motorhome: an unusual transformation

This particular model, which has about 165,000 kilometers on the odometer, was sold by the auction house Bonhams, and cost about 8,000 pounds sterling, which is equivalent to about 9,300 euros. It is characterized by a matte blue shade and wheels with black covers, which gives it an unusual look.

If at the front we find the passenger space of a completely ordinary Jimny of the third generation, the rear part of the vehicle is equipped with a small one mobile home cell, equipped with a cabover that rests on the driver’s cabin. It has two bays on each side, a skylight in the roof, as well as a door at the back, which is reached by a small ladder. Hankook Dynapro tires, mounted on all four wheels, as well as a spare wheel attached to the rear, recall the adventurous origins of the donor model.
