At the request of the Architect des Bâtiments de France, the sanitary block of the Port-Louis camp, located on the Henri-François-Buffet side of the promenade, is being deconstructed. “These toilets have not been used for ten years after the remodeling of the ones near the reception desk,” explains Jean-Paul Hubert, the work assistant. “It was a wart that harmed the development of the ramparts”. Several outdoor sinks will be retained. The price of the operation, which includes the removal of asbestos from the fiber cement roof, is 12,000 euros. The work is being carried out by the company Le Bihannic of Lanester.
